My iPhone 13 pro max camera makes people look like mannequins. I took a picture of my son today and he looks like he’s made of plastic. I used the 3x optical zoom with no digital zoom. Anyone else seeing this?

This might shed some light. No pun intended.

Yes, I’ve had a similar issue with my 3x zoom. I took a picture of my son and it came out looking like he had been “green-screened” in.

It looks like Deep Fusion edge detection is buggy and some of the images it’s stitching together are misaligned.

I’ll have to see if there is a way to turn it off. I took the same picture with my canon R5 and there was no similarities, not that I really expected any.

Chiming in to add another voice to this - Portrait mode photos using the x3 telephoto have been less than good. They'll do, but I would have expected better.

Was not using any filters or modes. Just straight photo.
