I don’t know if it’s just me, we bought new iPhones together with my wife. She has a 13 Pro and I got the 13 Pro Max.

We have them for about a month and the experience has been all but great for us.

The first thing that we both are experiencing are screen touch issues that we can’t fix even with hard resets / software updates. The phone won’t wake up when it’s supposed to, apps freeze a lot of times and we need to close and open them again. At times, they don’t even load properly.

CarPlay sometimes stops working and we need to restart the phone for the actual sound to come off the music that’s playing on the phone, even though the output is set to CarPlay and we see the audio playing on the iPhone.

None of these annoyances happened on iPhone 12 or 11 Pro Max.

Did anyone have a similar experience with the new devices or is it the fault of iOS?

The only thing that truly stands out is the 13 Pro Max’s spectacular battery life.

The touch issues have been fixed by software updates, I think. Why didn’t you return your 13 PM within 14 days?

Probably worked fine for the 14 days before the problems arose.

It’s a conspiracy I tell you

Shucks well I guess you have to ride it out with that for another 10 months. I didn’t have a good experience with the 13 Pro series this year myself.

I’m having issues with my 13 pro and Bluetooth connections in my truck. I do not have car play. Calls will disconnect from Bluetooth but still be on the phone. Have to turn the radio on and off to get it working again. talked to apple support last night. They are thinking it’s the case I have on my phone. So yeah this phone has been an issue.

Did you change the screen protector or you're using the stock one? I did not face any touch issue like this, check whether any updates you have missed, and also don't put the phone in tight pants the display will get this problem.

Try resetting it. If you restored your backup. Maybe something got corrupt along the way? I have the 13pm and it’s my favorite. Sure there are a few issues but I wouldn’t trade it for anything out right now.

Zero issues here, and I haven't heard any 13 owners in my circles having any of these issues either. I'd say either return or exchange it?

I'd even go as far as to say that the iPhone 13 Pro Max is not only my favorite iPhone model of all time, but my favorite COMPUTER of all time.

I have had similar problems. May I ask you, did apple support try to resolve these issues?

iPhone 13 pro max
Worst iPhone ever
Constant touch screen issues
Cameras auto focus is horrible
Scrolling is a jittery laggy mess
I’ve had 2 phones
Both performed exactly the same
And at least 3 of my friends already returned there phone
Unfortunately I’m passed the 14 days
So I’m stuck with this garbage until I sell it
How apple are getting away with is beyond a joke ?‍♂️

You have the answer already, sell it. Get something you want..

I’ve already said I’m going to sell it!
(I said I’m stuck with it until I sell it)
Meaning it will be sold!!!
But highlighting how bad it is
Is important
It’s important so others know there not alone with this awful experience on there new iPhones
And it’s equally important
To have the information out there
In hope Companies take note
And improve things.

I’m fairly critical of Apple and don’t agree with the direction they’re taking in many thing. However, I do think your experience is definitely not consistent with that of the majority. Get a replacement or sell it, but most of us are perfectly happy with our iPhone 13 Pro Max models, myself included. Are they perfect? Hell no! But at least I do think they’re the best iPhones and for me better than the competition

Not sure what the need is to try and make a point about my experience
If your happy with your phone that’s great
No need to start telling me about majorities
Which by the way is absolutely impossible to prove
As the vast majority of people I know and have spoke to are not enjoying the experience and think the phone is garbage
Again that’s my experience
And the majority’s I’ve dealt with
So You can have your experience
and I’ll have mine
I was just responding to someone who had an issue
letting them know I’m having similar issues
Like most of the people I know
And have spoke to!

I really like my 13 PM but I DO experience touch issues. Small touch targets in the top right and left corners of apps can take like 10 tries sometimes to activate. I can’t tell if it is just the app or my phone but it happens in a couple different apps from major developers (LinkedIn, Reddit).

That and the inconsistency of FaceID are my only real complaints with this phone.
