Anyone with the iPhone 13 Pro/Max silver do you feel that this year model is more scratch resistant?

I am the one who don't care much about scratch, it's like the mark of time. I love the white silver color from 11 Pro Max and 12 Pro Max and continue this choice this year. I am a caseless user and surprisingly after some weeks there is no scratch on the frame yet.

I heard somewhere Apple put a coating layer on the silver 13 Pro / Max this year which never happened to previous silver models.

Is the metal very smooth? I have the gold one and I can feel the coating, it's not smooth but "grippy", if I move my finger on the steel I feel it's not pure steel, it's like it's "sticky", plastic-y. If yours is the same then it's coated. If it feels like smooth, shiny cold steel then it's not

Definitely not as smooth as 12 PM, yeah it's kinda sticky, not shiny as 12 PM also

Then maybe they finally coated it. I went gold to avoid microscratches, might go silver next time then

There is no coating on the silver model exactly like every silver SS phone since the X. Only the colored versions have the coatings. The only advantage to silver is scratches can be polished out as long as there not too deep
