Other iPhone 13 Pro vs iPhone 13 Pro Max Camera

Is there any news on whether the 13 Pro Max has better camera features than the 13 Pro?

The 12 Pro Max has a better telephoto lens than the 12 Pro which is the only reason I got the Max (I care deeply about camera quality).

If the cameras are the same between the two models, I'm excited to downgrade size and go for the standard 13 Pro.

Glad they are the same this year. Though it was a minor reason as to why I skipped the 12, the fact they had different camera setups did contribute to my decision.
 
Customers for you. Last year I bought a regular pro and complained that I couldn’t have the advanced camera from the max.
I was sort of getting myself ready to take on a max this year. Now that they’re the same I’m torn. For a 256gb it’s only an extra $150 for the max version which gives you a big screen and massive battery. Hmm.. with all this covid and wfh it’s not like I need to lug it around anyway.. and bed time web surfing would be better on big screen.. but will it be too big?!

And 13 Pro battery life reportedly better vs 12 Pro. I hate to lose my Midnight Green color 11 Pro Max but a smaller form factor and no camera difference has me going for the 13 Pro this time.

Glad I found this thread. I didn't watch closely and assumed the 13 Pro Max again had a better camera.

I'm torn. I used to really prefer the smaller size of the Pro, but I've gotten somewhat used to having a larger screen and longer battery life. This will be a tough choice!
 
Bugger. I'm confused now.
I don't like the larger phone but I felt compelled to buy the Max because I wanted the best camera on offer.
Now Pro and Max are the same. So it's down to size of screen and battery life.
I'll be 53 in several weeks time and my eye sight is shot making the larger display is tempting.
Such a large slab to carry around though....
1st world problems eh?

The midnight green was hard for me to part with. I often wish I hadn’t. But the incremental camera upgrade on the 12 Pro max helped me get some indoor badly lit photos the 11 Pro couldn’t.

Yeah, same boat here. I’m 47 and until about 6 months ago my eyesight was perfect. Now I have trouble making out small type.

I think I will stick with the Max because of this, and the battery. I’ve gotten used to carrying it and I don’t mind the size anymore. I have the AppleCare+ with Theft and Protection so I don’t use a case. That helps a bit with size.

The other advantage to a bigger screen is when reviewing and editing photos in the field. Makes a big difference to have the extra screen real estate for that.

This is great news , the max pro is same size as my 8 plus - too big 4 me !

ok , that’s me sorted 13 pro not 13 pro max 👌
