Ordered on preorder day-originally for 9.24 delivery, then 10.4-6, now 10.14-21…

*this isn’t Apples first iPhone launch during a pandemic-seriously how did they NOT see this coming?

Maybe you should start building your products in the state Apple instead of cheaply paying for it to get done in another country. You have more than enough money

Congratulations to everyone who got one already, but I'm really sorry for Apple (rather than being sorry for me).

I tried to order a 13 pro (128GB) today from Italy and the estimate delivery was November 5th: thanks, but no thanks!

I hope for Apple I won't be the only one giving up but personally it really puts me off from buying one. If I really needed one, I would order anyway... but while my XR works perfectly I have no strong reason to rush.

I was thinking about this… the pressure to deliver an iPhone update each year to build up the hype to sell-but not having enough to sell (at least within a reasonable time frame). The marketing of a “Launch” and not being able to deliver is ridiculous.

“under promise, over deliver”, appears to be dead at Apple.

You feel sorry for Apple? I wouldn't worry; they're the richest tech company in the world. You not buying one of their phones made in a Chinese sweatshop won't affect them one bit.

I didn’t even have to place my order at midnight when pre-orders went live- I placed it at noon on the Friday that pre-orders were available and got it delivered on the 24th

I’m glad I got it last Friday though now that Apple is having production issues…

Looking forward to Apple coming out with the ProRes update for the iPhone 13 Pro- I read that Apple is going to push out that update sometime before the end of this year but ProRes only works on the 256gb or larger which start at $1099- so if you want ProRes make sure to order the right model
Wut? I ordered an hour after pre-orders went live and mine hasn't even shipped yet.

For 13 Pro Max, there is simply no stock anywhere in Canada. Every few days adds another week to the expected delivery date. It's already set to arrive mid November.. I'd rather wait for Black Friday maybe. The rest of the models seem to be available though.
Black Friday is a con 🤣

I own a 13 Pro but it's kinda sad when these writers have to keep mentioning slightly smaller notch as an upgraded feature. LOL

Same here. iPhone 13 Pro 128GB in Silver. Order confirmation at 5:02 AM PDT/8:02 AM EDT. Delivery date of September 24th. Then, during the weekend when everyone else was starting to get Preparing to Ship status updates and UPS My Choice listings mine was still stuck Processing. By Tuesday, it was still processing and the delivery estimate changed to October 4th through October 6th. Needless to say, I'm still waiting. They upgraded my shipping to "express" delivery, whatever that means, and gave me credit for my leather case that was in my pre-order.

Very disappointed. I've been pre-ordering since the 11 Pro and have never had issues with getting my iPhone on launch day. Even in 2020.

I have to say I was very underwhelmed by the updates from the event ... but actually having it, the screen is a game changer. I was blown away even coming from a 12 Pro.
I've got a 11Pro and it's great but wondering about making the jump to the 13Pro and giving the 11 to my wife. I made the jump from using a DSLR for product photos and video to using iPhone. Yeah, it's not "quite there" but I don't have the budget to buy high end camera gear when my clients don't notice the difference. Have you noticed a quality bump in the photos from the new larger lenses and sensor?

Guys, this delay and lack of inventory is not Apple's fault, they have said it over and over in the news, expect shortages of things for a bit, cars manufacturers are also suffering with the shortness in chips, low staffing due to the pandemic's ripple effects, what makes Apple immune to all this just because they are a Trillion dollar company? NOTHING, they will also have issues because they depend on other companies to supply and transport things.

No surprise here. Honestly, I’m pretty impressed Apple was able to hold up supply long enough for the initial launch day blowout. When you consider all of the supply chain issues around the world (have you seen the gas queues in the U.K.?!), especially with chips, it’s an impressive feat.

It does appear, very limited configs of iPhones since Sat. Absolutely nothing in stock in all stores near me as of today. USUALLY this cleared up after 7-10 days...but I don't know about this year.

I've seen these lost, delay shipments still going on today w/ UPS...the deliveries have clearly been messed up, even odd even going to back to Nov. for me (Some random guy in an unmarked pickup truck delivered my iPhone back then).

This whole ongoing Covid - shortage of drivers, employees everywhere. Extremely slow/backed up deliveries, low stock, manufacturing delays / chip shortages still... not just for Apple phones, iPads. It's everything...especially - more importantly food! (Go to the grocery store today and see how many shelves are bare, near empty.)

That's a whole other situation, but with Winter, Holidays coming, eh..I don't wanna think about it.
