Top (ear) speaker is shot. I have to use headphones or speakerphone on calls. Music and everything else only plays via the bottom speaker.

Verified hardware issue…I restored the iPhone software and tested before doing any restore from backup.

Has anyone replaced the top speaker with an aftermarket one? Good results?

Also, I'm unsure as to what to order. When I search on Amazon, for instance, I see two different-looking parts. Anyone know?

If you’re not bothered about OEM parts just go to a repair shop. Speakers are cheap to replace so you will probably end up paying less than $50.

Yeah, thanks. Capable of doing it myself. Do you know which part a shop would use?
Nope. I went in for an earpiece speaker replacement 2 years ago for my 8… turned out it was just some lint trapped inside and the speaker itself was fine so I never went through with it.
