Any thoughts on the weight of the iPhone 14 Max will be? I'm thinking it will be around 204 grams but I'm hoping for less. Around 180 would be amazing, but probably not realistic.

I think these two comments are for the Pro Max. I’m curious about the regular Max. I assume an aluminum frame so there should be some weight reduction. Maybe 15%.

13 Pro: 203g
13 Pro Max: 238g

So the Pro Max is 1.17x the weight of the Pro. If the 14 weighs about the same as the 13 (173g) and the above holds true, you might expect the 14 Max to be approximately 203g. Take that with a big pinch of salt though, there's no guarantee the 14 won't be heavier than the 13 in the first place, or that the ratio will be similar for the non pro phones, but that's about as good as you're going to get for a guess in the absence of any rumours.

Per the other thread. I am pretty sure the “thicker” 14 will be a bit heavier with slightly larger capacity battery.

Assuming the 14 Pro Max remains stainless steel, it will be heavier than the 13 Pro Max as it will be thicker with a larger camera module.

So let's say the 14 Pro Max grows to 252 grams. (I added 12 grams as that was the leap from the 12 PM to 13 PM.)

Subtract 30 grams as the 13 Pro is 30 grams heavier than the 13.

That gives us 222 grams for the 14 Max.

The iPhone 13 is 174 grams. There is no chance the 14 Max will be close to that.

I’m looking forward to this reveal as well. I gave up on the max phones because of the weight to size ratio. I’m currently on an iPhone 12, and I don’t really need to upgrade. Nevertheless, I would love to just drop all my iPad and go with iPhone only pared with a desktop at home.
