iPhone 14 Pro Max Apple Leather Case - extremely tight fit?

Is it just me or is the Apple Leather Case for the iPhone 14 Pro Max extremely tight?

I had a really hard time removing it, it's so tight and stiff. What the heck? This was way easier on the iPhone 12 I had previously.

Anyone else or is it just me?

(I usually don't have a case on my iPhone and just use it basically only on vacation or something like that)

For what it's worth, I have just put my ink case on my 14Pro and it's a nice snug and tight fit and not 'easy' to remove.

A win in my eyes!

It's always stiff when new and it softens with time.

The only thing I don't like is the case doesn't hide (and protect?) all the steel around the screen.

I was just about to post this. 😂 I’d rather have it snug and even on the tighter side avoiding the corner slippage.

Also if its loose, it allows more dirt and crap to be able to get down in there. Its better to have it tight than not.

Oh thank goodness, I thought I was imagining things with my ink leather case for the 14 Pro. It was a struggle to remove it, totally different from the wisteria one I had for my 13 Pro.

Yes. I was surprised. Seems like they heard the corner feedback, though I never had that issue.

I haven’t taken mine off but it did feel pretty snug going on
