Got it Friday and its been fine but when I took it off the charger this am it asked for the pw as it had restarted. Hopefully its just a 1 off.

Similar issue, my iPhone 14 pro max is frequently rebooting when on charger and fully recharged. I take it off the charger. And it’s asking for the password. While on the charger every night since I got it, it’s rebooted a number of times per night.

i can assure you its not a 14 PM max thing as i was having the same issue on my 13 PM with ios 16

Only when when on a charger and 100% charged. It’s happened numerous times. A few times I got a message saying “Your iPhone was restarted because of a problem” but often no notification at all.

I had my iPhone 14 Pro Max replaced this past Thursday. I replaced it with the smaller 14 Pro, so far no rebooting issues.

Hello, my 13 pro had the same issue last week: rebooted just at the end of the charging cycle.
Never had this before ios 16. I doubt it's an hardware thing.

Had a random reboot on a 14PM, not charging with 60% batterly level. Phone was just sitting there in the morning. First time it did that since launch. I also think it's an iOS issue rather than a hardware issue, it's just too common it seems.

Same problem here with an iPhone 14 Pro received on release day. First time seemed like a fluke or iOS bug, but several updates later, still happening. Guess it's time to request an express replacement?

There are multiple threads here discussing this. Oddly, no new posts in over a month. Did other people get theirs replaced or was the problem solved via iOS update?

Many including me had the iPhone 14 Pro replaced, I’d suggest you do the same.

My 13 pro doesn't reboot anymore 🤞 don't remember when, but an update fixed the problem.
