When Taking selfies with the front camera, lets say from the right side of your face, the actual picture is then mirrored and flipped to the other side?

Why is this?

It's hard to explain but it the way you see the pic in the camera app, is not the same as when its saved as a photo,

Its like when you look in the mirror and its flipped.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Its never happened before and I've had every iphone since the 4.

First time.

It's evem happening in 3rd party camera apps.

Video however is fine.

Any way to stop this?

Does switching the Settings -> Camera -> Mirror Front Camera toggle change anything?

Oddly, I just posted in the “help and troubleshooting forum” that this toggle doesn’t appear to do anything on my 14 Pro. All of my pictures and videos look backward (both win in camera mode and in the actual finished picture or video in the camera roll. I’ve toggled back-and-forth with no effect, and hard rebooted it a few times. Any ideas?

That’s a strange one,

Toggling the option fixed for me,

If you’ve done a hard reset would need to go to Apple for a resolution perhaps.
