iPhone 14 Pro Max IPhone 14 Pro Max touch to wake issues

Don’t know if this is a common issue with the 14Pro/Max have mine since lunch day, sometimes the screen do not respond with touch to wake i need to press the power button to wake the screen, this is extremely annoying, do not happen frequently but happens sometimes anybody having the same issue, this could be iOS related or hardware?

I thought I was the only one. I’ve had the same phone since launch and I have had the same issue. It’s funny because ever since I installed 16.2 from the first beta, I haven’t experienced the issue but was reminded that it was happening to me when I read your post.

I have this issue sometimes as well but usually works the second time I tap

I have found as it get colder and my skin get drier, it might take a 2nd touch every once in a while.

I have the same thing happening. I would go to Apple store, but it is so random, I would probably not be able to duplicate the problem.

I noticed as well at random times that this has happened to me as well and on current ios 16.2
