My experience is that is simply tears down on the edges...

I am absolutely with you on this!

Granted some people have not liked or had good experience with the Apple silicone cases, but I love them like my children (if I had any), so my issue has been finding a comparable case (since Apple has forgotten the color white in cases.)

I've been looking at some on Amazon. They seem to run around $15, but I don't know how well they would work. I've had issues in the past with various silicone cases -- never Apple's -- that the sides are a bit 'loose' in that I can easily brush against them and they lift--not protective. I want the sides to hug the phone.

The think the point is that the OP wants a white case, and this is more likely to be silicone than leather. Is a white leather case available?

I’ve ordered the same silver 14PM — still debating if I want to case it or go naked.

The silver Otterbox Lumen case looks nice. Other than that, the Apple clear case.

I have looked for a white silicone case, but nothing looks good — quality is questionable and none are MagSafe. I would be interested in a very light gray color, but I’m just not seeing anything.
