iPhone 14 Pro Max iPhone 14 Pro Max wide angle/macro internal lens cracked…?

hello! so i have not seriously dropped my phone (that i recall) but it seems the wide angle/macro INNER lens is cracked. i am attaching images that show that the phone doesn’t show any visible damage, the camera lenses covers are intact, it’s always in a silicone case, but for some reason the lens cracked. anyone experiencing this? i will be taking it to apple to fix but i highly suspect they will blame me for it and i’ll have to shell out $500-600 to get it fixed/replaced.

the crack also shows in screenshots. the “normal” camera is unaffected, as seen in one of the images.

thoughts?

I think the lenses are plastic, regardless sent it back for a replacement.

I don't think there's much you could do to prevent or cause that, either intentionally or by accident.
That's what warranties are for.

Hi what resolve did you end up getting, I ran with the same issue no falls nothing just in my pocket no physical activity. Did you end up getting a replacement under warranty or did you have to pay for it
