Other iPhone 14 Pro: No Way to Hide the Pill During Movies?

One thing I'm worried about regarding the new Pros: the pill when playing movies.

"We suspect that in just a few days of use you'll stop noticing the holes in the screen, but in our early testing of watching a movie, it seemed very obvious thanks to the fact the screen wrapped around it. At least the notch was tucked to one side."

The Pill will become the new notch. After a while it'll disappear. Plus, you can flip the phone and the pill will be on the other side.

I will say however, in the promo video it shows an Air drop icon [1:01]

Theoretically Apple could in iOS 16.2 or 16.3 add a software toggle to hid.

You won’t see when watching most videos, especially when watch 16:9 videos.

It’s only when you fill video to screen you will see it.

This will be the main selling point on a future iPhone--a screen finally free of obstructions. It's highly annoying, you either have to live with an oblong hole in the screen or letterbox the video and lose a ton of screen real estate. Sometimes you don't get the option at all.

However, in my use case I rarely watch movies and shows on my iPhone so it's not a huge deal.
