I am looking for a video stabilizer for my 14 Pro. The DJI's have bad reviews for their software. I would like to avoid any software that is made in China if possible due to security issues.
Thanks

Out of interest what are your perceived security issues with software ‘made in China’ …. As opposed to an iPhone that’s made in China ?

Have you tried the built in action mode?

Or is this something you need to do in post processing?

Have YOU read any of the posts on the DJI's about their software? Just to use their device after buying if, you half to register (create an account) with them giving ALL of your information.

1.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic product if it wasn't a Chinese Trojan Horse.

The product itself is manufactured well, seems fairly sturdy and does what is advertised save one factor. To utilize the features i purchased it for you are required to install the DJI MIMO application onto your phone. This application is not supported on the Google Play site and has been taken off because it is so wrought with security violations. Some folks may think, well i have nothing to worry about from the Chinese Government. Here's where you're wrong, the software openly shares everything about you and I MEAN EVERYTHING! The way it does it is inherently insecure as well so maybe the Chinese Government might not have any interests in you but due to the security flaws in the network affiliations any bad actor can be sitting and waiting for interesting content to come across and act independently. Next thing you know you're wondering why you're locked out of your Twitter account, your YouTube account and you're mysteriously now own 16 extended warranty packages on your car. Stay away from this garbage. I'll most likely be returning mine. I'm deeply disappointed here and DJI as a whole appears to be a gigantic Chinese scam.

Buyer Beware

The software app for this DJI gimbals has been removed from the Google Play store due to security and/or spyware issues. I'm leary that most gimbal manufacturers may pose the same risk as they will ask for access to your photos, messages, contacts, and data. But this one HAS been removed. Buyer beware.

1.0 out of 5 stars App will not let you use basic features unless you give them your precise location for no reason

Yes and I like it. Thought that a "Stabilizer" would be easier to access all the features without having to keep going back to the Phone it self. Most have a builtin tripod and or selfie stick. Planning on the a last "big vacation" and wanted great video and pictures.

Sorry but this is complete misinformation. This is one paranoid reviewer.

The DJi app was not removed for the reasons stated.

I don’t disagree the app requires registration but it’s up to you how you register it. As for access to various functions on your iPhone the gimbal wouldn’t function without such access.

This was "ONLY" 3 separate posts from 2023 on Amazon. there are other posts and on other forums about the same thing. If you have any information on the reason the app was removed please let me know.
With over 3K purchases that Amazon is showing for this item and Not one reply on here from someone who has one?
There are Apps on the Apple Store that are for "Stabilizers" but they don't show which ones they work with.
I'm not interested in a Pissing match over software, or just what "Registering" is signing up for allowing access to personal information. I just want to know what works and what doesn't from people that are using them.
