Even the couple people I know with a Vision Pro don't care about spatial content, and my good buddy with one hasn't even turned his on since June.

I barely take video anyway, and prefer photos and reading. Spatial video is yawn.. 🥱

Aww man, whattawickedbumma! I know vision with its price tag is incredibly niche but down the line I feel spatial will be more accessible in ways more than just $ (comfort, convenience etc)

Spatial video I don’t remember during vision demo but the picture was incredible and itll
Only get enhanced…

I don't know if going from the 14P to the 16P will really be that much of an upgrade, but I have always felt that my 14P has a camera issue. The problems are most evident in night mode and macro mode. The camera can never focus on an object, constantly jumping in and out of focus in both modes. I've tried to replace it but I can't replicate the problem to
Apple's satisfaction at the store, especially the night mode issue as the stores are so brightly lit. So, I will bite the bullet and get the 16P. I may get back on the Apple upgrade program in case i really like the 17.

In 2022, Apple unveiled the iPhone 14 Pro as the successor to the popular iPhone 13 Pro, introducing an always-on display, the Dynamic Island, a 48-megapixel camera, the A16 Bionic chip, longer battery life, and more. I have an iPhone 14 Pro and hadn't planned to upgrade until at least the 17 series phones, I absolutely loved it the first year.

BUT, this year has been horrendous on my battery health. In January I had 98% health after 12 months of useage and in the 9 months since it's dropped to 84%. What was getting me to 50% battery at the end of the day in January/February is now barely making it to 7PM without desperate need of a charge. There are also increasing issues with the phone over heating when charging, randomly in my pocket and in general screen usage.

In short, it looks like the 2 year upgrade cycles will continue for me this time around (all be it begrudgingly- i made it 4 years from my XR to the 14 Pro)😄
