iPhone 14/Plus iPhone 14 running too hot on basic operations

Hi,

Has anyone else noticed their iPhone 14 running hot/warm.

Doing basic tasks, safari, etc. the phone gets quite warm to the touch, and often too warm for comfort. Sometime too hot. iCloud sync is done .. I done have many photos or iCloud data.

Should I try to get a replacement phone? Or wait maybe it’s iOS16 bug?

I had an iPhone 7 that ran so hot it was tough to hold. I took it to Apple and the guy immediately started working on a replacement after I handed him mine to hold. If you’ve tried the normal reboot I’d be tempted to at least make an appointment to see what the Apple rep thinks. I have a 14 Pro Max 1 TB full of photos and videos, but mine hasn’t been hot at all.

Not too hot to touch but noticeably warm on my standard pro for sure.

No problems here with any heat during use (14 Pro).

Yeah, is it warm just with basic use? Like FaceTime or safari?

I would not be posting this if it was not bothering me enough.

Not not hot at all really. It was 90 here yesterday and we were at the zoo taking video and photos, no abnormal heat issues.
