Hello,

I am looking to purchase an iPhone upgrade for my mom as a gift. She currently has an iPhone 7. I will be purchasing it new from the Apple Store. She does not like big screens so not going for the plus. The camera will be an upgrade regardless. She doesn't listen to any music so 128 GB will do just fine. I am from Canada and the 14 is $850 vs $999 for the 15. The price is not a major difference to me but I would appreciate your opinion on whether to keep the $150 and go with the 14 or if it's really worth it get the 15?

Do these have physical SIM cards? If not how do you activate the esim? Do you have to call the cell provider?

Thank you

If price is not a concern then iPhone 15 is better ,
Major differences are
1. usb v lightening
2. notch v DI ( may not be major difference )

Other upgrades are just marginal

reg the physical SIM cards it depends on where you purchase your phone from but esim is seemless for majority of operators across multiple nations .
Please check with your network operator

Yes absolutely an iPhone bought from and shipped to Canada will come with a physical SIM card slot.

Definitely 15. Big upgrade over the 14, including camera and display.
