What do you think? I was considering upgrading my 6, but I might hold off..I keep waffling.. 🤔
I think the new processor and brighter screen are pretty compelling!
I‘ve waited for years to upgrade because there wasn’t enough in a single year to make the leap.
But I’m really impressed with the 9 from what I’ve seen and read.

Moving from your 4 should be great!
I’m on a 5 and not quite there yet.
Enjoy!

Going to be upgrading our work phones to iPhone 15, but the budget limit only extends to 15 Pro. 15 Pro Max is out of reach. I'm coming from a 13 Pro Max (11 XS Max before that). Now need to decide between 15 Plus and the 15 Pro. Leaning Pro and having a smaller phone for the first time in a while.

Yes, I appreciate the roundup as well. And maybe this question might be more suitable for an iPhone-specific thread but something I have been wondering which is mentioned above, but not answered, in the 'How to Switch Between Silent/Mute and Ring Mode'. If you change the "action" for the action button to something other than mute, how do you mute the iPhone 15? I think you can somehow do this in accessibility but is there an easier way?

Thanks.

You can turn on the Focus mode ‘Do Not Disturb’ in Control Center.

The iPhone 15 Pro product page says that if you change the action, you can switch Do Not Disturb through control center or with Focus modes

IPads have a Silent Mode switch in Control Center. I’d assume that it will be the same on new iPhone models.

Very much hoping they'll add some options to how this button works.

No particular reason I can think of that a short press couldn't be for your custom function and a long press couldn't toggle silent mode, for instance. Double-click could also work for something if they enabled that.

Control Center is well and good, but it's an annoying process compared to flicking that mute switch (or pressing that action button).

As long as it has a shortcuts option, the words your oyster

Your watch knows it’s time.
The final hurrah?
Yeah, other than iPhones I tend to keep products until they give up so I had some guilt about recycling a perfectly good Series 4. Now that the battery is consistently giving up it feels like the time is right.

I had an 8:15 appointment to pick up the Series 9. Once inside the store and they learned why I was there, they pulled me out of line over to a desk where the guy scanned me and brought out the Watch. He said everyone else was trying to snag something they hadn’t pre-ordered. I was driving off before my appointment officially started.

I was surprised to see about a dozen people had camped out overnight!
