iPhone 15 Launch Could Be Delayed Until October, Claims BoA Analyst

Even if its delayed by a couple months, is it going to be the end of the world? Its not like your existing iPhone or other smart phone stops working. Just keep chugging along with what you have until the iPhone 15 is in your hands. These analyst are just dim, you have to wonder how they got to do what they are now doing.
Indeed! I would love to know the psychology behind this. It’s like life or death for some people.
If you mean stock manipulation by a rumor poster, maybe.
If you mean stock manipulation by Apple, get real. Any delays in launch cost them lots of money.
This is the truth! For the first time ever I don’t think I will upgrade to the new phone. iPhone 14 Pro Max 1 Tera is going cover me for two years as the new 15 will fail to deliver on a better camera sensor. Basically just upgrading for a minor speed bump and usb c for $800 after trade in… nah, I’m cool.
Hopefully there will be no delay. Maybe certain colours will have longer wait times
Apple said none of this so how do you construe this is a supply chain issue or marketing stunt?
It's an analyst looking for press and building his name.
In any given year, there will be at least a dozen of these guys claiming some variation of the same thing. 99 out of 100 times, it is made up garbage.
When you hypothesize it may a marketing stunt you do your credibility a disservice.
It doesn’t matter how long the iPhone will be delayed by. iPhone consumers are not going anywhere.
It was a problem in 2021 when the Pro iphones were delayed past the Christmas buying season due to Covid lockdowns in China. A lot of people that were buying iPhones as gifts changed their minds and bought something else since the gift giving was time sensitive.
It doesn’t sound like any delays this year, if there are any, will be on that scale, but it timing does matter to some purchases. When the X came out, I was hoping to buy one but their shipping was delayed a month. Normally that would not be a problem but I dropped my phone on concrete and it was unusable. I had to buy an iPhone 8 that cycle instead.
