They could also make the iPhone 2mm thicker. That would allow them do double the capacity of the battery and and the same time make the camera even better without the need of a bigger bump.

It is not so much about the battery life on a single day, but more about the number of recharge circles. Imagine the battery would last three days. Then 500 cycles would be good for more than four years.

Still not seeing the need to upgrade my iPhone 14 Pro… it’s already basically perfect
Far from perfection, I have a 14 pro max but I hate when people say a device or product is perfect or implied it can’t be improved. Like USB-C should have been in the 14, for example

I don't know if this will be the case, but it seems like whenever they make something more power efficient they shrink the battery so that the net result is just maintaining approximately the same battery life. That seems to be what they did with the 14 series. Seems like they've decided that as long as it gets the average user comfortably through a full day that's all that matters, and maybe that is good enough since most people seem to charge their phones overnight as routine, but I think that now the goal should be comfortable 2 day battery life.

This could mean a big leap forward in battery life for the iPhone 15 Plus model (I'm thinking of getting the iPhone 15 Plus 512 GB as the replacement for my iPhone 12 256 GB).

The current design is really stale, in my opinion. I would love an updated design. I don’t need another updated camera. I realize it’s easier said than done but it’s time.

I am intrigued by the leaks of thin bezels of the iPhone 15 Pro - I feel thinner bezels on iPhone are overdue.

I realise the standard 15 will likely not be getting thinner bezels.

I like the low weight of the standard iPhone 14 compared to the Pro, especially the 14 plus’s low weight for screen size.

I am also not that fussed about lack of 120Hz display on the standard 14 and rumoured lack on the 15, but I wish Apple could at least lower the screen refresh rate on the 15 eg if watching TV series / movies shot at 24Hz.

The inability to lower refresh rate is the reason ,I imagine , that the iPhone 14 pro max can play video for 3 hours longer than the iPhone 14 plus , ironic as the 14 Plus has otherwise longer battery life.

With the rumour that the standard iPhone 15 is due to get a more power efficient driver chip (28nm) albeit without 120 hz support , I am hoping that the new driver will at least allow it to lower the refresh rate for movies , taking it down to 24Hz. That would also eliminate judder that you get watching movies on a 60hz-fixed display and be a more enjoyable viewing experience… as well as fitting in with the trend to make the display utilisation more power efficiency . A win-win.

I hope this means it doesn't dim as quickly and aggressively as it still does in the sun and while gaming, but this is about the display controller and not the full panel which is likely more of the power use, so dunno.

I hope the 15 line does have those vapor chambers they were working on.
