Didn’t see this posted anywhere else here but Ian Zelbo did very realistic looking renders for the iPhone 15 Pro at 9to5Mac:

And the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max physical bezels leaked with the iPhone 15 Pro Max having the thinnest bezels of any smartphone at 1.55mm according to Ice Universe and AppleInsider:

Personally I think the renders look great! The slightly curved edges, titanium frame and the other touches are all a step forward. Let’s be honest, they have to do something to freshen the pro line up this year.

I think this may be an unpopular opinion but I don’t think the cameras look bad. I’m also really excited for the rumored titanium finish. Won’t be a fingerprint magnet and the phone might be lighter 🙌🏽
Honestly, I can’t tell a difference between these cameras and the ones on the 14 Pro models besides the 15 Pro models protruding out more. The 14 Pro cameras are already huge so I guess I’m used to it.

This is repeated literally every year.

Truth.

I'm looking forward in all the other design changes. I hope the titanium frame results in a significant weight reduction but if they're adding another 2 haptic engines for the solid state buttons, could be a wash and we're still left with a heavy device. Speaking of which, I was put off at first with the solid state buttons but thinking about it more, with their experience with the Magic Trackpad, 3D touch and AirPods, I think they'll do a great job implementing the tech on iPhone.

Im not a fan of the camera lenses protruding the metal rings like shown in the picture. I would more prefer them to raise the square portion and keep the protruding lenses to a minimum.

Not a fan of those curved edges, but they probably will grow on me.

USB-C is very welcomed though.

Very incremental upgrade, I’ll see how I feel in the fall when this is released, but I’m leaning towards holding on to my 14 Pro Max another year.

That camera bump 😂
I wonder if there’s anything about this that’ll sway me to upgrade from my 11.

So is Apple going to make thicker phone cases to accommodate the camera hump? :p

i think this upgrade is bigger than the 14 and 13 pro series
Titanium frame, thinner bezels, true optical zoom now, 3nm SoC, usbC

Nothing that will make me deviate from keeping current pro max for a couple of iterations more… in the meantime I’m expecting Apple to keep up with their development and improvements so when I switch it will be quite a difference, so of course following it with interest! When it’s time to switch in some years I will go for the top of the line, again, probably…

I just feel it’s always the same debate, more or less… what the improvements really mean in difference for actual practical user experiences is another matter IMO! Will it actually be that big of a difference etc etc, recent iPhones are still going to be real fr***ing fantastic phones still, it’s just luxury problems isn’t it?

there you are perfectly right...i was just saying this upgrade from 1 generation to the next is bigger than it was 13 pro to 14 pro for example
Thats all....i think 15 pro will be perfect for those who are coming from iphone8/X or Xs

Yes totally agree, and your observation there is a good one, of the relative difference the 15 p/pm probably going to have compared to the 14.

What a truly hideous camera bump, looks more like a cancerous lump or piles. I certainly wouldn’t use that phone even if it was free. I shall be getting a standard 15

Looks amazing! except the camera bump. It's beyond a joke now and it's at the point I straight up refuse to buy it because of how silly the camera bump is. I'd be happy to pay the price for a 15 Pro Max but that is a huge turn off. Good thing I don't really need to upgrade and I can get another year out of my 12 Pro Max. Battery is at 88% health and I could just get Apple to put a new one in later this year.

If the iPhone 16 Pro Max still has a ridiculously huge camera bump then I'll just get the iPhone 16 Pro (assuming it doesn't get a huge bump too) or not buy an iPhone at all.

Get it sorted Apple.

And here I thought the 14 Pro camera bumps were hideous.

Oh the camera bump…oh no

I think the people complaining about the cameras every year are just like the folks who pined for a smaller iPhone for years … loud online but a very small minority of the phone buying public.

Well… yeah. I do not for a second believe that the majority thinks like me on this 🤷‍♂️

If they did, Apple would have likely reversed course and/or invested in different solutions already.

I would also not let the bump keep me from buying the phone if I needed a new one this year.
Do I think the bump looks ridiculous? Absolutely.
Is iPhone still my phone of choice? Yes, because the overall package is more convincing to me than what the competition offers.

Since I’m still very happy with my 11, however, I will be able to just wait and see what 16 brings. Maybe it’ll come with a fold-out telescope. Or maybe they’ll extrude the rest of the body to cover the camera bump, making for a really fat phone. Or maybe it’ll come with some wild tech that allows the camera to be housed entirely in the phone without the bump.
