About to renew my contract my 2 year iphone 15 Pro is at 87% after 370~ cycles, mostly via wireless charging.
I turned off almost all settings/options, as i use it as a dumbphone.

Only have duolingo, my bank apps, MS teams for work and authenticator apps installed.
Even with my limited use/screentime as i dont browse the internet or watch youtube (not installed) or play games on it, below 40% end of the day.

Anyone experienced a better battery life with the base Iphone 17?
(I wait for the base 18 as its almost september)

But i feel this phone is almost as bad as my iphone 13 mini in terms of battery life.

On the other hand i am thinking off just see the fast battery drain as a feature to use the phone even less than now, and just have it in my bag for emergency calls and apple payments.

Because i feel the degradation of such a expensive device after 2 years with my use case is nuts.

I got my Blue Titanium 15 Pro as a pre-owned device from Amazon in January and it had 80% battery health with just over 1500 cycles so I replaced the battery inside my iPhone with a high capacity diagnostic compatible battery giving my 15 Pro a 108% battery health in February and since my battery replacement service it has been fantastic to use.

I still feel based on the iOS I am running on it . . . iOS 26.6 Developer Beta 1 (build 23G5028e), has been a solid device to use. I do have an iPhone Air as well as an iPhone 17 Pro (see signature below), however I have been using my 15 Pro as my daily iPhone since the battery service.

The battery health on my 15 Pro is currently at 106% with 44 charge cycles on it and it lasts all day for my use case. I have no issues using my iPhone compared to your experience.

IMO your 15 Pro being at 370 cycles at 87% is standard. The phone supports 1000+ cycles though and that’s good
