Just noticed that some of the paint/coating inside the USB-C port has come off on my 15 Pro. Still charges ok as it’s just cosmetic but bugging me since I spotted it lol.

Do you think this is an issue worth mentioning to Apple?

You can "mention it" if you want but it is just cosmetic and not covered under and warranty.

Spoke to Apple support & sent pics, they are replacing the device as this is a “hardware fault” 👌🏻
