I guest it's another post complaining about iPhone 15 Pro Max battery.

Today I ask some of my colleagues and know that their iPhone battery capacity goes down to 99-98% after like 30-45 charging cycles. (Approximately 30-45 days as we usually charge up to 1 cycle per day).

I am surprised because for 13 PM and 14 PM, I only saw it degrading to 99% after 3-4 months.

Are you noticing this?

1 recharge does not equal 1 cycle. 1 cycle is 100% of recharging battery - 1 chargé from 0 to 100 is 1 cycle and 5 recharges from 60
to 80 are also 1 cycle. I have phone almost 3 weeks and have 10 cycles.

My battery health jumped from 97% to 92% in one day about 2 weeks ago lmao. I don't care anymore, I'll just charge it more often if I have to.

My 14PM dropped to 98% after 1 year. Do you think the battery health info is accurate?

25 cycles = 1% drop

Apple says the battery lasts 500 cycles. It needs to be replaced at 80%. Therefore, 500/20 = 25 cycles per 1%.

Everything seems to be in order in your case.

My almost 2 months old 15 Pro Max is at 100%, however having checked battery stats early on I could see that the phone came with less capacity surplus than my previous iPhones (basically it is closer to its design capacity than previous iPhones), so it will get to 99% sooner.

I remember my 11 Pro Max had something crazy like 4100mAh capacity but the design capacity was around 3969mAh or something, it took about 10 to 11 months to drop to 99%.

Here is my 15 Pro Max. The 15 PM has a charge design capacity of around 4441mAh.
Mine came with 4520mAh, it is now down to 4490mAh, so it’s still “100%” due to the surplus capacity over the design capacity.

Whilst for some people it may drop significantly slower than that, due to the variability of the original battery capacity, fluctuations are normal. I’d give it a few hundred cycles before worrying.

My cycle count is 40, health 100%.
iP15PM with 62 days of use.
80% charge limit since day 1, 5W charge using Apple adapter and USBC cable from Apple with a USB - USBC converter.

Although battery health is 100%, I feel the battery usage is too low vs other % of use that I've seen in the forums (battery usage performance).

So that's why my cycli is at 17, I did select the 80% charging and after a month mine is already at 17. My wife who has a 15 bought it at the same time has 13 cycli.

So the battery of mine 15 pro max would be degrading faster then my wife 15??

‘Your cycle count would be different if you used more battery than your wife, each day.

Read the tutorial first so you know what dataset to point it at.
Strange it says 89 cycles, on the iPhone it says 23 and I have the 15 pro max for three weeks. Can’t imagine I have 89 cycles.

You have had the phone for three weeks and 23 cycles and the Maximum Battery Capacity (Battery Health) is @99%? Should still be @100% unless it’s a used phone.
