iPhone 15 Pro Max Screen flickers grey when watching videos in full screen mode

My iPhone 15 Pro Max screen will flicker grey over a video I am watching in full screen mode randomly. I am running the latest version of iOS 17. It’s very annoying! Anyone else having this issue? It even happens with Apples TV shows.

Here is an example with the TV show Foundation on Apple TV.

Any idea how to fix this? I never had the issue on previous iPhone 13 Pro Max.

i read somewhere there is some settings in the phone where it prevents bright lights to harm eyes, maybe you have enabled that

Hmm not that I know of. I wonder what that setting is so I can check? I found the Reduce White Point setting but that is off. Not sure if that is it though.

Maybe it’s the “Dim Flashing Lights” setting?

settings>accessibility>motion
see of dim flashing light is off or on.
if its on then off it and try, if its already on off then wait for other users to reply
