If all the storage tiers got bumped up one level, that would be really nice. I know people that are upgrading from a 64GB model and are really feeling the squeeze. 256GB base basically quadruples their available storage, and they’ll be good for a long time. Start at 256 and give us up to 2TB, which is a little more my speed.
Am I personally running out of space on a 1TB iPhone anytime soon? No. But will it last forever? Also no. I’d totally be in for a 2TB iPhone. And you know what? If down the line they did a 4TB iPhone, I’d be in for that too!
$250 Android phones are starting with 128GB these days. So it’s sort of a “have to” decision on Apples part.

Even if you can’t get it on day one, I know you have a more than capable phone that can survive a few months until a readily available. I’m really excited to check out the new phones and other devices at the Apple store later this year. The Vision Pro is also something to look forward to down the road.

Multiple reports have indicated that the iPhone 15 Pro models may be more expensive than iPhone 14 Pro models, with a $100 to $200 price increase possible in the United States. On social media, there has been speculation that Apple might increase the base storage of the devices to 256GB to help justify the higher prices.
Apple charges $100 more for the 256GB config, so if they raise the prices $200 USD and include that, it will still be very much a price increase. Example 14P w/128 GB is currently $1000 USD. If it ends up being a 15P w/256GB is the base config for $1200, you can already hear the sighs.

But after so many years of the same price it's certainly a possibility. It certainly would boost 14P series sales until they are gone. ;)

Love this time of year.

When Tim drops those Titanium beauties .. 🎊

Hoped Apple would redesign the 15 since it’s the first phone with USB-C.
4 years with similar design is 1 year too long in my opinion
But how different can they make a rectangular slab of metal and glass look like? It’s already rumoured to have slightly rounded edges and who wants to go back to fully rounded edges like the 6-11 series? Smartphone technology has reached it’s peak.Even if Apple eventually make a foldable iPhone they will still keep the slab design as well.

So... is this the new lineup?
iPhone, iPhone Plus, iPhone Pro, iPhone Pro Max and iPhone Ultra?

I'll stick with the Pro Max and go with 512GB or 1TB this time for storage. 256GB served me well for a while, but my local matched music library has really outpaced it. Not even downloading lossless files either.
Doubt it. Thats like 5 phones. Im thinking...

Iphone 15 for base
Iphone 15 plus
Iphone 15 pro regular size
Iphone 15 ultra replaces the max

I never ordered at the Apple website. Things can get pushed into the next month really quick, no? I know the Pro Max is a pretty popular phone and the hard-core Apple people are up at 5 AM buying them up

I did the 5AM ordering for my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Turns out... I didn't need to order so early. The ship date hadn't slipped yet even later that same day. 🤣

But I'm still gonna order as soon as possible this time. You never know!

Things I learned if you're ordering directly from Apple... make sure all your payment and shipping information is up-to-date... and try multiple methods (computer web browser and iOS app)

I already had my payment info ready the night before so I was ready. Or so I thought... more on that later.

The website and the app were slow to load. Millions of people were hitting the servers at once!

I finally placed my order in the app... while the website never loaded.

But I was stuck for about 10 minutes trying to get my order to go through because the app was asking me for my 3-digit credit card code and I didn't scroll down enough to see the warning. Since this was a newly updated credit card... it needed the code. But once I entered it my order went through.

Then I got worried again because I didn't get the confirmation email for almost 30 minutes.

But in the end everything was cool and my new iPhone arrived one week later on launch day!

😎
