I dropped ty the local verizon store on the 16th and preorderd a 512b promax, titanium. They gave a verbal estimate of about a week and a half. Later checking the order on line it said Oct 6, Then yesterday saw shipping notice. It left LA early this morning and arrived in Dallas about an hour ago. UPS says delivery by 7pm tomorrow so will probably pick it up Thursday when I go into town.

Tracking number is now showing in UPS app with Friday delivery
15PM 256 in black. Originally scheduled for 10/9-16, moved to 10/5-9 yesterday, this morning my card was charged. No shipping info yet. Hoping it'll be here in a couple days!

I ordered at a T-Mobile store, and I realized after the order our billing address wasn’t updated with T-Mobile (we moved in June). The shipping address is correct though.

To me ordering from the carriers gets a lot harder to predict. Most of us in this thread ordered from Apple directly and it seems like they’re still working orders from the first HOUR of preorders. I was :35 and just got shipping info last night.
Has Tmo given you a shipping date estimate?
10/3 - 10/9 for my black 256 Max

Nice! They would leave a sticker on your door and try to deliver the next day usually. I wouldn’t chance it and see if you can just pick it up.

In the past I have called the customer service line at ups. That’s if you don’t have that option in your ups app. I used to have a hold for pickup option in my app but that particular customer center closed so now I don’t have the option.

I haven’t used the UPS app in years after many errors. I gave up, and things have been smoother not using it ha.

Outside of the shipment progress area on the app, I don’t think so. I did pay a bit extra for a two hour confirmed delivery window for tomorrow.
It would be nice if they gave a heads up when they were on their way for confirmed signatures.
Or if somehow it could notify us by text they were coming in a few stops.

My Oct 9th - 16th Pro Max order moved to preparing to ship tonight. Upon looking at UPS my choice it is showing the phone should arrive around the 10th. Is that normal to get a tracking number this far out?
My 9-16 moved up this past Tuesday, and then said Oct 5-9. When it went to "Shipped" Tuesday night, it said Oct 5th on the Apple Store. UPS said Mon Oct 2nd. Currently my phone is en route to Louisville, then PHX to me, so there's a chance I might get it tomorrow, but most likely the 2nd.
I think once it starts moving it goes faster than that, but it's odd UPS shows the 10th. For me UPS was sooner than Apple's estimate and I'll either get it tomorrow or Monday the 2nd.
It looks like it changed to shipped overnight with a scheduled delivery of 10/2!
