Initial tests, like on NotebookCheck and on The Tech Chap's youtube, are showing that the battery life of the iphone 15 is slightly worse than the 14, which was significantly worse than the iphone 13. Could this be a smart move by Apple to encourage yearly ugprades by making the all day battery life last less than a year? As was the case with the iphone 14 series for many people.

It's okay because 95% of people who bough the iPhone 15 Pros will really want to upgrade to the new under display face id displays iPhone 16 Ultra.

if they're both running ios 17 it shouldn't matter? one should always be more efficient than the other right

That would be bad. My 13P is at 90% battery health and have to charge it during lunch to make it through the day. Would be bummer if the 15P is not a bit better

Even at 88% battery life on launch day 14PM. I can go a whole day on a full charge. Around lunch time in at 50%. Come 5 pm as I arrive home I’m at 30% or so. Lately I just charge it in car during lunch drive and on my way home. Yes the 13PM was much better. Ready for 15PM tomorrow so I can see what’s this whole fuss about battery life being bad.
