To those who previously switched from the Pro to Pro Max (or vice versa), did you regret your decision? Torn between the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. Specifically worried about portability limitations on the Pro Max (such as it feeling too big/bulky in pockets).

It's definitely big in pockets, particularly if your clothes tend to be more fitted. However, I don't regret the larger form factor because, for me, the better camera is worth it. Plus, its size becomes less cumbersome if you tend to carry a backpack, crossbody sling, etc.

I like the pro but prefer the 15 max, day 2 I had a "oh dang" moment, where I was walking all around all day and thought it was not even in my pocket, granted, I use it baseless which is awesome! The pro was just starting to be hard on my eyes! LOL

Too TALL:
You won't really know till you try it out and you may probably do get more "used" to it, but I didn't need / want to get used to it. I just wanted my pocketable light phone back ASAP!

I went with the Max this time for the larger screen and battery. I have zero regrets after about three years of Pro (not Max) phones.

pro max if i) Already got used to max sized phones, ii) Use as primary source for content watching/games iii) longer battery iv) better for eyes

regular sized pro if i) use phone primary for calls/texts ii) use some other device likes ipad/mac for content watching/games. iii) want to use phone with single hand and always on the go

I have the 15P and my GF the 15PM. I used the PM up to the 12 PM but now i don't like the big size anymore. Sure batterywise it's nice but I tried the 15 PM a few times and it's just to big for me. The 15P has the perfect size.

Edit: also use iPad/Mac on the couch etc but even if i don't use them the size of the 15P is ok for content viewing.

I went from 14 Pro Max to 15 Pro. I’m very happy about the switch as it’s a lot lighter, feels better in the hand and doesn’t hurt my pinky finger after holding it for a prolonged time. The reduction in screen size was also surprisingly easy to get used to.

One thing, however, is the lower battery life. Definitely noticing it, but it’s good enough :)
