Comparing my XR to the 15, the 15 screen is a lot more yellow and even more dim when looking at it directly, but at an angle it looks a lot better for some reason.

I have True Tone and night shift turned off as well.

Is this going to go away soon? I heard you have to wait a few days for the screen to whiten.

Anyways I appreciate any help.

I reported something similar when I purchased my iPhone 12 Pro back in 2020.
I also noticed the display was warmer and then stumbled across this thread https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...y-seem-warm-check-here-first.2262691/page-333

Seems like the displays are a lot warmer by design I think. There were also a few YouTube vids out at the time comparing the screens and some of the reviewers also noticed this warmer/yellow display on their iPhone12 displays.

Now 3 years later I purchased a 15 pro max. Surprise suprise its also same as my iPhone 12 Pro.

I did get a replacement at the time on my 12 pro and even the replacement was slightly warm. I just accept it and im fine with it now.

I returned my order for a 15 Pro Max because the warm display was driving me crazy, especially at low brightness. I tried to adjust it thru color filters. Really wish Apple allowed for color temperature adjustments.

You can adjust the colour temp if you want it to match how the old colour temp used to be.

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size. Tap Color Filters, turn on Color Filters, then tap a color filter to apply it. You can drag any slider that appears to adjust the intensity or hue.

Same, iPhone 15 pro Max low brigthness and yellow scream
The iPhone 12 Pro Max my brother is more brightnees
