Forgive my ignorance, knowing nothing about how USB-C is implemented on other smartphones.

But now that the iPhone 15 is getting USB-C, does that mean it will work with USB-C hubs?

I think it would be very cool to plug into a hub with keyboard + mouse + display + audio rig (throw in ethernet too), and use the 15 Pro as a mini-desktop, as some have already been doing seriously on the iPad Mini 6.

Ok, got an answer from this video. Looks like you can use anything you want. USB-C Hub with external storage, HDMI, SD card, Ethernet all possible.

I have a USB-C hub for my laptops that is connected to power and a monitor.

I plugged my 15 Pro into the hub, and it started charging, and the display was mirrored on my monitor.

Am I the only one having problems at charging 15 PM with USB C to A cable? Got 3 brand new in my car (different brands) but none seems to work

What about mouse and keyboard? I don’t think he tried those in the video.
I tried my iPhone 15 pro yesterday and it works with my usb type c monitor and the keyboard and mouse connected to it.

It also works with separate usb c hub that I own. Two devices connected to it even charged from the iPhone. However the hdmi port didn’t work.

Cool, so that confirms you could basically use a USB-C hub to give you a full desktop experience – keyboard, mouse, monitor, ethernet, external drives, pass-through power, audio.

HDMI should work too, but I noticed some hubs are less reliable than others; often have HDMI issues with my iPad Pro through hubs.
