Honestly, since the performance declines gradually over the years, it grows on you 🤣
But the real deal breaker for me is that the CarPlay performance that has been severely degraded, especially when it's booting.

The 16 PM will get a new 48 MP main camera with the IMX903 sensor. A huge improvement in light sensitivity and bit depth.

Apple is intentionally releasing only one sensor out of the three once a year because otherwise they have close to zero changes. It's pathetic really. Just release all three sensors to 48 and be done with it cheap scammers

I’m still using my 2020 SE2 so the 16 will be a significant upgrade. Not looking forward to the size increase but everything else should be sweet.
