iPhone 16/Plus iPhone 16 Pink screen flashing

Hello,


My first iPhone 16 the screen was flashing pink randomly.
It occurs when the screen is idle and dimming.
But its happening sometimes, not all the time thank god.
When i touch the screen when it happens then its gone...

I returned the phone for a new one, exact the same problem.
On Reddit i see also people complaning.

I hope it is a software glitch and wonder if someone else have this problem.

I’m having the same issue in my iPhone 16. I’m from Argentina but I bought it in the USA. I hope is a software issue because there’s not a support center in my city so I must travel at least 600 km to the nearest or go to Chile.

Is this still happening to you? I also have one of the new default wallpapers and it's happened several times at random today. I just changed my wallpaper and looking to see if it happens again, if so, I'm taking it back to Apple.

do you think it's hardware or software? I don't want to return mine, wasting time only to find out it's on the new one too because of a software issue.

Yes, I did. I talked with support and they told me they haven’t received any report about this problem so I sent them this thread!

i exchanged my 16 2 times, and now my third one has it too, so it is a software bug.
It only occurs when you set the iPhone 16 walpaper as background, other wallpapers are fine!

Static custom wallpapers won’t make the screen flash

Kinda hilarious bug for the cool marketing ones to glitch out and make you not wanna buy the phone

I just returned it anyway and use some existing gift cards to get a different phone. Oh well, hopefully it doesn't happen on the new device and if it does, I have AppleCare.

Same issue here. I freaked out a bit until I found a couple other posts mentioning the issue is the stock animated wallpaper. The issue stopped as soon as I changed it off of that. Kind of a bummer since I really like the stock options this year.

I do too, hope they release an update soon maybe 18.0.2. It’d be a boomer if they wait to 18.1

It could mean that it is a hardware issue in few iPhones. Did you try the wallpaper theory?

Yes I do, it’s clearly an issue with the wallpaper

Hey, Is the issue gone with your new device? Even if you use the stock animated wallpaper?

I ordered another 16 Plus and it had the same problem. I returned it and went with an S24+ instead. I"m sure it's likely software and something that can be fixed but I wanted to try a new phone. Good luck though.

No it’s not. I’ve update and it happened again! I’ve reach multiple times about these no solution!
