I’m glad it’s not just me. I thought something was wrong with my phone. I just bought it a month ago and had started to notice the problems. I changed my wallpaper and have not had the screen glitch out on me once.

18.3 RC has not resolved this issue

This is outright embarrassing Apple can’t get the basics right. It’s what 5 months after release of the new phones and they’re still wrestling with that?

Up until 18.3, and we’ll see how holds over time, iOS 18 has felt noticeably sluggish at the most random times

iPhone 16 purchased 3 days ago, pink screen glitch on stock wallpaper and very poor system animation performance. This is hands down the worst new iPhone experience I’ve had since iPhone 3G. And after 3 major updates its unacceptable

I’ve talking to apple and they said they don’t have reports about it! They ask me for a video proof and of course it’s almost impossible to get!

Ok I got it on camera, sorry for the out of focus quality because I had to quickly catch it on another phone

how is this thread only 2 pages and how is this still unresolved?

such an obvious, reproducible bug that plagues anyone who is interested in Apple's stock wallpapers for an advertisement like experience on their screen, which I would assume it at least some people given their marketing is successful.

Hello,

My first iPhone 16 the screen was flashing pink randomly.
It occurs when the screen is idle and dimming.
But its happening sometimes, not all the time thank god.
When i touch the screen when it happens then its gone...

I returned the phone for a new one, exact the same problem.
On Reddit i see also people complaning.

I hope it is a software glitch and wonder if someone else have this problem.
Apple intelligence ??

Oh, this just happened to me today! Base iPhone 16 and, yes, I'm using the stock wallpaper (which I like), so I'll change it (reluctantly) and see if the pink flashing keeps happening.
