I watched some tutorials on YouTube and the Camera Control button reminds me of the Touch Bar on Macbook Pros - I'm not a fan.

Can you not use this button and use the camera just like older iPhone models without any loss in functionality, meaning just navigate via touchscreen controls? Or are some features only available via the new camera control button?

Edit: Looks like you can https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/adjust-camera-control-settings-iph22c8345f8/ios#
