Anyone seeing bubbles at the edges of their Apple installed Belkin screen protector for the iPhone 16 Pro? Intend to go back to the store and ask them to reinstall. Never had an issue before.

No issues on my end. Had them install it yesterday and the guy was very careful and made sure no lint.

Would anyone be able to share a photo of their iP16 Pro or Pro Max with the Belkin screen protector installed? I got a Zagg one installed from a local phone repair shop, but the screen protector just barely covers the display, unlike last year's 15 Pro Max which seemed to cover as much of the front of the phone as it possibly could without bubbling up with a case on it. Thank you in advance.

How bad is it? Reason I’m asking is I originally had three put on one store (one Friday night and two Saturday) Thought the second one Saturday was good but when I got home I discovered the edge bubbled up on the side 😩. Went to the store today (Sunday) to exchange the cases I got and have the screen protector reinstalled and they tried seven different ones.. come to find out my actual phone was the defect. They swapped my phone on the spot and when they applied the screen protector on the new phone NO issues at all. No fight no struggle no lifting. My phone was defective 😂

It’s the entire right side border that’s bubbling. What about in your case?

I just swapped to the Belkin from TORRAS, much better, no blooming, smoother edges, no black borders to cut off screen edges. I tried the spigen and ESR too and they are no comparison. Dear but the best

Thanks - exactly what I was looking for. Appreciate your feedback.

Exactly what happened to me.. the right side. Oddly enough the first one was a little on top which I corrected and a little on the bottom which I couldn’t. But the sides went up and like I said they wouldn’t go down with every screen they tried. Which again was like seven yesterday. Ended up being my actual screen being twisted slightly or warped.

I had the issue on the top left. When I went to a different Apple Store(was near it for the errands I was running) to get a replacement. The employee said they need to leave these in the case a little longer than in the past. It’s been like 30 hours and so far no issues.

Mine already broke just carrying two phones in my pants pocket.

Belkin told me to go to the Apple Store (their website doesn't even offer the 16 in their drop-down menu yet) and Apple told me to contact Belkin 🤬 "we only replace it if it was applied incorrectly".

Edit: Apple told me it needs to be peeling or have bubbles for them to replace it in-store so I literally went out of the store, lifted the screen protector a little for bubbles to built up and went back inside and now they replaced it 🫣

No bubbles or fit issues on the Belkin with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Edges are not sharp at all.

I did have Apple replace it due to dust that was under the screen. The new one is flawless. I did a video on it over on my YT channel showing fit, the initial install, etc… the second install that Apple did (which I did not film) was much better as there was no time between taking off the full screen dust sticker and putting on the protector.

So, if don’t use a case, then sounds like you will definitely feel it raised then? If so, that is a bummer.
I don’t use a case, and it’s the best I’ve tried. Still definitely a lip but rounded enough that it doesn’t feel bad

I had the Belkin UltraGlass 2 installed on my iPhone 16 Pro. After an hour, I saw the screen protector lift up on the right hand side of the screen. But I pressed it down along the edge, several times, and it's not come back up after that. Been good for 2 days now. As for the edge, you can hardly feel it, it's pretty smooth and there must be some edge curvature to it. Overall, I'm very pleased with Belkin's screen protector.

I’m in the same boat as you. I use my phone without a case. Currently using Torras and I am not happy with my finger catching the edge and feeling sharp against my ear. Also not liking the black rim slightly covering the screen and slight color distortion with my polarized sunglasses.

Feel like I’m looking for a unicorn to get a screen protector I’ll be happy with on my 16 Pro. I’d prefer to not spend $40 on the Belkin after already dropping money on Torras. I wonder if other manufacturers will tweak in the coming months so I can ride it out with the Torras for the time being.

It seems this year only those companies who closely partnered with Apple or Apple themselves have accessories that are perfect for fit and use. The slim bezels and camera capture button really seem to have put third party makers on the defense!

Yeah, pretty much. The margin for error for third party makers is very small now, and as a result of that, a lot of them will just not be fit for purpose. Overall, the Apple-Belkin UltraGlass 2 protectors seem to be a safe bet.

I returned to the Apple SoHo Store to have the screen protector replaced. An employee was being pretty inconsiderate saying that if the prior Apple Store didn’t provide me with a receipt, they couldn’t help me. He later said he didn’t have time to help me. I showed him the record on my Apple Card of the transaction. I was clear with him that I was at the SoHo store now and wasn’t going back to Apple Manhasset store simply to get a record of a receipt.

Immediately after that awful interaction, another greeter came by to help me and she was FABULOUS. My gosh, she just wanted to make it right and eliminate all the barriers. She directed me to someone who reinstalled it. Later, I swung back to thank her, and it must have been 10-15 minutes that passed. Her back was to me and I just said “thank you so much” and she turned around and immediately said “you’re welcome Pete”. I don’t know anyone that would remember names so well and do so literally immediately upon turning around. I intend to call the store tonight to provide her the praise she’s do. 10/10 experience which started as 3/10. She turned it around.

Similar experience. It really depends on who you get. The first "greeter" sent me away and told me to get it replaced via the customer service from Belkin. I was like F this and just skipped those "greeters" all together and went straight to the accessories area and the woman was super helpful and changed it immediately.

Apple Service certainly is not what it used to be about 10 years ago. Online as well. Half the time I feel like they don't even speak my language properly and just copy paste text blocks. I am used to this from SONY but not Apple ...
