Hey guys, I'm going to upgrade from my SE 2020, which I've had for 3 years +. I was gonna get iPhone 14 Pro but they are out of stock at Xfinity. Then I was going to get 15 Pro but I read so many adverse things about the battery life, I decided to just get the 16 Pro. I saw this guy griping however about the new camera controls... legit gripes I'm sure, but you can still use the touchscreen to control the camera in the usual way, right?

Yes, all the usual camera controls are also still within the camera app itself. I've found the camera control button to be useful for landscape shots though. Complaining about the camera control button gets guaranteed views/likes so you'll be hearing about it for months to come.

Just make sure you turn off this setting and you’ll be able to see all the camera controls on the screen at all times even when you use camera control.

Thank you guys. Tell me please about battery life. My SE 2020 (3rd gen) is pretty bad at this point, in battery life. Have you been pleased with the 16 pro battery performance?

Got it, thank you. I read the whole thread, thanks again. By the way guys, my 16 Pro is on the way, I would like to get a cable with which I can connect it to USB in my vehicle. Would that be a USB A to USB C cable?
