Has anyone else noticed when you use the "Home" gesture specifically, and some other animations across the iPhone 16 Pro Max - the animations look jerky/not smooth? Or maybe it's just me and I am going crazy.

I don’t have a 16 Pro Max, but I have a 16 Pro and I’ve noticed this too. Have you tried a restart? It hasn’t bothered me enough yet to try a restart but I am assuming we’ll see a 18.0.1 at some point to address any initial issues.

Yeah I did; did not go away.

Low Power Mode is not on either - maybe it's software for iOS 18; what's weird is on my 14 Pro Max which I traded in, I did not see any animation lag on iOS 18

Maybe since the screen refresh can drop all the way down to 1FPS with promotion, the lag you see might be promotion ramping back up.
