iPhone 16 Pro White, Gray, and Dark Black Colors Shown in New Image

Leaker Sonny Dickson is back today with a new dummy unit image showing three alleged iPhone 16 Pro color variants, including a seemingly darker Black Titanium unit compared to the color of the same name on existing iPhone 15 Pro models.

The iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to come in black, white or silver, gray or "Natural Titanium," and a rose or rose gold color replacing Blue Titanium, according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and other leakers.

Dickson's image shows the white, black, and gray versions, but there is no sign of the much-rumored rose gold variant, which was recently described by one leaker as having more of a bronze-like hue. Apple did not include a gold option in the iPhone 15 lineup, so a similar variant could see heightened demand.

One rumor suggests that Apple is using an improved process for finishing and coloring titanium, which will result in a glossier look than the brushed aluminum finish of the iPhone 15 Pro models. The glossy finish could look much more like the stainless steel that Apple used in prior years, but it will be more resistant to scratches.

We don't actually know the official color names yet, but Apple may choose to stick with the Titanium colorway branding it used for the iPhone 15 Pro models. The next-generation iPhone 16 lineup is due to arrive around mid-September, so we will know for sure soon. Dickson revealed the colors for the standard (non-Pro) iPhone 16 models on Wednesday.

I like the darker black, but unfortunately, with Apple's engineering quality declining in recent years, that phone will likely get even hotter and overheat even more than the current models.

Depressing colours. I wish Apple were still fun, as when it had a rainbow logo and released the original translucent and colourful iMacs. Nowadays it's all different shades of grey, aluminium here, titanium there... boring.

And there’s me thinking last year’s iPhone pro selection was poor. If they do release a rose gold one I expect that to be popular as at least it won’t be a monochrome variant. With the rumors around the iPhone 17/17 pro being a bigger upgrade including promotion across the entire lineup and the launch of the iPhone slim, it doesn’t really surprise that the color choice is rather lackluster.

iPhone 11 Pro (Green), 12 Pro (Blue), 13 Pro (Green and Blue), 14 Pro (Purple), 15 Pro (Blue). I think the gold color is also interesting, but not one I'd opt over the others. I find natural titanium to be an interesting and beautiful color.

Man I wash Apple had the courage to follow through with their 2021 iMac colours and do the rainbow for other product lines. Would be awesome for the MacBook Air and would be awesome for phones too

The titanium models are consistent with the colors possible to them. Puzzled as to why they dropped the blue which was my favorite. No Product Red of course and that seems to have been dropped from all models as it was not in the 15 series either despite hopes that it would be an update color.. what's up with that.

The real thing will likely look more premium, but it is disappointing that Apple have a tendency to wrap their best features only in more reserved colourways.

Yep. No Product RED last year and no spring color update. Rumors also show the base 16 and Plus in the same desaturated pastels. I expect the Apple Watch to move away from midnight/starlight colors to match the phones better. It’s a little boring, but that’s what cases are for.

The Pacific Blue on the 12P a few years ago was stunning. The emerald green wasn’t too bad either. We can have color without it being Pastel.

But these phones look like business suits out of 1930.
