"The ‌iPhone 17e‌ is a strong choice for anyone upgrading from an ‌iPhone‌ 14 or older. For those users, the combined jumps in performance, charging speed, storage, and camera capabilities are substantial."

So the article is saying the 17e's single camera system is better than the dual one on the 14?
Am I reading that right?😲
The single camera in the 17e is not as good as two separate cameras but overall it’s still pretty good with a 48 MP sensor. My kid has the 16e and it’s quite decent if there is sufficient light. However, the 16e/17e does not have a 0.5X camera. It has 1X 48 MP and cropped 2X 12 MP.

Double the storage at same price, addition of MagSafe and the usual chip upgrades are all that is enough to easily recommend the 17e over the 16e. The colors though continue to be a disappointment.
