I must say the iPhone 17 air is very intriguing to me, the thinness is insane. The dummy units look great especially the black one & the actual devices upon release always look better than any dummy mock up.

Other things of interest to me are the 120hz display, rumoured to be 6.6”. Also rumours of it getting 12gb of RAM and possibly the A19 Pro chipset.

I’ll be tempted if Apple can pack the single 48mp camera using high end hardware with lots of features, maybe using AI and the power of the A19 chip to allow portraits of things other than people + a decent zoom range.

Battery life is a worry with a rumoured 2900mAh battery capacity. Maybe we’ll be surprised at the endurance with the right optimisation and power efficiency.

Watching with interest….

What % of customers have been clamoring for a slightly thinner phone and a worse camera.

I'm certainly clamoring for a thinner iPhone. No doubt millions of others are as well.

Regarding a "worse camera," being a photographer, I'll wait for reviews from credible sources and playing with a 17 Air at my local Apple Store before passing judgment. I know that goes against the "Apple is doomed" mantra that so many insist on clinging to before Apple products are actually introduced and available.

Small phone users don’t spend as much time staring at the screen. That’s bad for business. Tim hates it.

Yes. They are very worried about our “privacy and security” ….

And their solution is make sure every device is a huge attention addiction patio paver.
