In my country, the availability of the iPhone 17 is currently practically nonexistent. All retailers seem to show that it is out of stock, with no information on when it will be available to ship again. The iPhone 17 Pro is available, though, so it seems to be specifically the base iPhone 17 that is difficult to find.
Could this be because of the rumors that the iPhone 18 base model won’t be released this year? Maybe retailers are waiting to see whether those rumors are actually true before ordering more iPhone 17 units.
It would obviously make a big difference to retailers when deciding how many iPhone 17 units to order, depending on whether there will be an iPhone 18 base model this year or not.
