They need to fire whoever is deciding on the latest color palette. The pale, pastel look is lame. Keep a dark hue (black, space gray, etc.), white hue (white, silver, etc.), then the rest should be some bolder / darker colors. I think its time for an burnt orange / amber to come into the mix.

They need to take the deep colours from the back of the iMac range and stick them on the phones. Apple and every other top company has been making boring phone colours for years now. Black and White are important neutrals but the rest should be brighter. I'm talking iPhone 5c/Nokia Lumia-levels of colour. I had all the different rear casings for my 620 because they were all gorgeous. (This also had manual camera overrides for £150. Apple still doesn't give you that when you spend £1500)

The blue iPhone 13 was my dream color – richly saturated, but also dark and tasteful. I'd do anything for a Pro Max in that color.

Anything...

I think people can give up their hope on more vivid colors for the Pro models. Because I think Apple finds it makes them look toyish and I can kind of understand that.

Same goed for AirPods which will never be available in a color, because the whiteness of Apple headphones is iconic.
Why do people even care what color their phone has? It’s a phone wtf

That was quite the tease of a cover image on this article. Can you imagine bright, saturated colors like that, not seen since the days of the iPod Nano? 😍
As for the purple and green… that's a Wicked combo. I hope they keep them in the lineup For Good. 😉

I hope we get some vibrant colors, and I hope the Air comes in all the same colors as the regular iPhone. Please Apple! Don’t saddle the air with boring pastel colors like the iPad Airs :(

not a Toyota washed out hue
This is the best way I’ve seen this described, haha

There’s so much nostalgia for the iPod nano colors right now, I’d kill for a palette like that to choose from. They’d look great on the Air, or whatever they decide to call it

I really hope they bring back a polished/glossy look too, to go with the liquid glass UI. Maybe polished aluminum like we’ve seen from other manufacturers. My Galaxy Flip has polished aluminum and it looks and feels incredible. Better grip than the matte too

Hopefully the base models will be having bright colours. Disappointing to see pastel colors in the recent years.

As for the Pro models, as always hoping for some nice colors. Year after year Apple continues to disappoint with the color options for the Pro model. The 16 Pro 'Desert' is very similar to the 12 Pro gold. At least hoping that the rumored 'Sky Blue' this year will be a good colour. It will be great if Apple can make a red Pro model.

Pro version of iPhones, iPads and even MacBooks can do with a bit of color. No reason to have only silver and black/grey for iPad Pro and MacBook Pro.

I’d love them to bring back the beautiful blue from the iPhone 12/12 mini.

My fav phone colour by far.

I’d take this mocked up iPhone 17 airs in red green and orange any day! But what will kill me with the 17 air is no spacial video!!!! Like come on Samsung puts out a thin phone with to cameras and apple looks like it will have just one which will guarantee it can’t do spacial video!!!! So bored with Apple ohhhhh the apps can be clear f the transparent apps I want bold colors and two cameras on the thin phone.

Just no rounded glass slippery edges! I think it was initially a Samsung "innovation". My iPhone XS was the only phone I had to replace because I cracked it too much...
