iPhone 17 Pro Allegedly Coming in Sky Blue Color Used for MacBook Air

Apple will unveil the iPhone 17 Pro in a new Sky Blue color, the same color that debuted on the latest M4 MacBook Air models Apple released in March. That's according to the leaker Majin Bu.

Writing on his website, Bu claims that "sources close to the supply chain confirm that several iPhone 17 Pro prototypes have been made in various colors, with Sky Blue currently the frontrunner." Bu goes on to say that it "looks even more stunning than the much-loved Sierra Blue of the iPhone 13 Pro, with a brightness and refinement that make it irresistible."

The Sky Blue finish on the MacBook Air is not very saturated, and the color's appearance can vary based on lighting conditions. Apple describes it as "a beautiful, metallic light blue that creates a dynamic gradient when light reflects off of its surface."

Apple has stuck to muted colors for its recent iPhone "Pro" models made from titanium, and it offered a new Desert Titanium color for the iPhone 16 Pro, which also comes in Natural Titanium, White Titanium, and Black Titanium.

Majin Bu accurately revealed the "Desert Titanium" color name for iPhone 16 Pro models seven months before the devices launched. However, some of his information has been wrong, including a rumor about an iPad 11 being imminent in 2023.

MacBook Air in Sky Blue​

I do wish that apple would stick to popular colours each year.

It’s a drag when there’s a really nice shade but it goes the next year. It’s not like they’re runway fashion apparel.

Not that it matters I guess, as most people (me too) immediately slap a case on it, but…

I think the stretched out camera cutout may provide a more even base & help reduce the phone rocking when typing whilst resting on a table.

It may tilt slightly toward the user too…ergonomics, people!

That would work if the camera lenses weren't sticking out more than the bump itself, just like it is on the current/past models.

After I have been using gold white & black since the iPhone launch its time for a change. I always wanted a special limited edition color the sky blue or the rumoured green and or purple may be my next phone.

The bump is made so we put the phone with the screen facing down on purpose. Apple has to show their logo to create awareness somehow, since it’s imposible to differentiate from the front since all phone are just glass at the front

I’m all in for this color and it would fit in nicely with the blue family: M2 iPad Air, iPad Mini, and AirPods Max.

The Sky Blue color looks pretty watery and bland in all the photos I've seen, but maybe it makes a better impression in real life. Those deep, dark blues, greens, and (Red)s in the iPhone 12 and 13 were peak iPhone colors IMO.

I would embrace this new camera bar aesthetic if it somehow made the entire area smooth with no lens protrusions.

I wish Apple would bring back Product(Red) color variant on their flagship models. Not necessarily with that nomenclature since they ended their partnership with Product(Red).
Imagine an iPhone Pro Max with ultrasonic red titanium rails and red back.

Does anyone think we're missing something massive here? Hoping we are, because this design is abysmal. The case leaks all show a big cutout around this area... wondering if there might be a 'cover display' incoming like we see on foldables like the Moto Razr 50 Ultra? Screen on rear of the Pro, Air superslim design, both paving the way for a future combination...?
