iPhone 17 Pro Cases Fit iPhone 18 Pro - Or At Least Otterbox Thinks So

I’m surprised Apple allows this. I would think they would have to wait until the phones are announced to advertise cases targeting them.

Or maybe Otterbox is about to receive a cease and desist from Apple’s legal team.

I think we can reasonably assume that Apple doesn't allow this... but nondisclosure agreements are only effective against companies that actually care about their reputation and continuing relations with Apple. (Of course, Otterbox is probably the only company that was under nondisclosure agreement in this instance, so the other companies are really just acting on that leaked image.)

If the 18 Pro is only marginally thicker and heavier as rumored, then 18 Pro cases WILL fit the 17 Pro. But not vice versa.

Been-there/did-that with the 12/13 Mini OB cases . . . an X-Acto helps. Got them to fit, but the cases weren't sexy anymore.

I highly doubt that this is the case. They 100% change something with the dimensions because they WANT people to buy new cases every year.
