Im looking at an upgrade to a pro max but I’ve heard of the crackling speaker issue

Is it a wide spread issue as if it is a doubt that this phone will last 5 years

I haven’t had any crackling on mine, it is very loud, I often avoid playing at full volume as it is just too much.

Just gave it a go while plugged in on both Apple Music and YouTube, no issue.
If it makes any difference mine is the Nano SIM (4823mAh battery version), that’s the model we get here in South Africa, we get the EMEA region devices.

OMG! Okay so when I am playing audio it’s not there but when I turn off audio and lock the phone then plug in and put my ear to the bottom speaker yep, there is a slight hiss indeed, it is very faint but it is definitely there.
