I believe Apple uses their own modem for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. My iPhone 15 Pro Max is draining battery when it is used as a hotspot, so I'm wondering if the iPhone 17 Pro Max is a lot better at using as a hotspot?

If so, does it make sense to upgrade now or wait for the next iPhone this year?
