Being a UK citizen I've only used an eSIM since it was first available on the iPhone, so around 7 years, not to mention every carrier here now supports eSIM so it really pisses me off that I'm forced to by a SIM tray version with 5% less battery life when I haven't used that slot in years. I want the extra battery life, not a waste of space SIM slot, really frustrating.

The innovation is too much for me, they're finally upgraded from plastic LEGO block spacers to actual battery capacity? I'd still rather have a sim tho. Because many countries I travel to are not esim heavy.

I wonder what the original maximum capacity will be on the PM batteries. Apple only shows the minimum , the actual can be a couple of percent higher.

This is unlike Samsung and every other phone where they show the nominal battery and the ‘typical’ battery but always say the typical battery size in their literature of the phone and not the nominal. For instance, the nominal battery of the S25 Ultra is 4855 mAh and typical is 5000, but they always say it’s 5000.
