time to release silcon carbon batteries really. granted 4288 or whatever will do ok and fine but the potential for so much more is there without a doubt
Thanks EU for forcing me into buying iPhones with inferior batteries.
Every night when I have 1% battery I thank you for forcing me buying iPhones with a sim tray that I have never ever used.
What would we ever do without you EU

Apple 🍎 doesn’t trust the reliability of silicon carbon batteries 🪫 and instead will use lithium ion high density batteries 🔋time to release silcon carbon batteries really. granted 4288 or whatever will do ok and fine but the potential for so much more is there without a doubt
Valid opinion, however …That doesn’t justify the removal of the SIM card tray. SIM cards are still one of the most widely used things with smartphones, and fundamental, especially for people who travel outside the US.
this time they didn't replace the SIM slot with plastic. Batteries aren't cheap. So that's an unfair characterization of a legitimate product decision that you disagree with. Others do agree with the decision, including me. I would rather have the extra battery.Tim Cook likes to cut corners in order to maximize profits. The removal of the SIM card tray is just one of many examples of that.
Apple 🍎 doesn’t like the long term reliability statistics of silicon carbon battery health 🪫 not lasting long and will instead use high density lithium ion batteries 🔋 with a more trusted long term reliabilityShame they aren't using silicon carbon batteries yet. Imagine an iPhone with a 7,000 battery 😍
If there's no noticeable increase in battery size/weight, and the battery technology itself hasn't changed, then there probably won't be any noticeable increase in battery life. So the question is then why increase it at all? Is it so Apple can increase it unnoticeably every year from the previous year and hope that when people look back after a couple years they'll only notice their battery life has gotten better but not realize their phone has gotten thicker and heavier?🤔Hopefully this means the rumors about the 18 pro max being noticeably thicker and heavier than the 17 pro max are false as well.
If you're ending the day every day with 1% battery, there may be other factors at play aside from that extra 200mAh...
Nonsense. That doesn’t justify the removal of the SIM card tray. SIM cards are still one of the most widely used things with smartphones, and fundamental, especially for people who travel outside the US.

mAh doesn't equal longer battery. Don't equate raw milliamp power with functionality.I want a sim tray, so who are you to deny me that?
Maybe you should ask Apple why it’s cheaping out on capacity. Chinese phones are now rocking 6-7-8000 mAh batteries without any issues. So take you complaints to Apple not the institution that ensures we still have some options and freedom.
